This course offers a comprehensive examination of the principles of sports and health, with a focus on understanding the close relationship between physical activity and human physical and psychological well-being. It addresses the fundamental concepts of physical fitness, its components, and strategies for improving it, in addition to approaches for promoting healthy lifestyle patterns and preventing diseases associated with physical inactivity and poor nutrition. The course provides students with opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts through practical projects completed either individually or in groups, with the aim of developing their skills in research, analysis, and health and sports planning. Assessment in this course relies primarily on project-based work, enabling students to enhance their abilities in devising solutions, delivering presentations, and designing integrated fitness and health plans that reflect their deep understanding of the course topics.
