The German Jordanian University proudly recognizes the participation of students Yaman Ghezlan and Salma Nassar in the preparatory activities for the Arab Youth Conference. As part of these efforts, they had the opportunity to take part in a dialogue session that brought together a distinguished group of Jordanian and Arab youth with His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal at Raghadan Palace.
Yaman Ghezlan and Salma Nassar participated as members of the conference’s Youth Committee, which consists of only ten members selected from across the Kingdom. Together with a group of outstanding students from various Jordanian universities, they contributed to discussing and developing several key issues and priorities concerning Arab youth, while helping shape ideas and perspectives that reflect the aspirations of young people and reinforce their role as active partners in dialogue and future-building.
This participation reflects GJU’s commitment to preparing conscious and capable young leaders who can contribute to national and regional issues through a supportive educational environment that empowers students to develop their leadership and intellectual skills and strengthen their presence in various forums.
This distinguished participation also aligns with the University’s vision, under the guidance of President Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, to highlight student success stories and strengthen students’ engagement in national and regional platforms.
In addition, Dr. Farah Al-Atrash, Dean of Student Affairs and Chair of one of the committees concerned with student success stories, continues to support and highlight such achievements as inspiring examples that reflect the capabilities and leadership potential of GJU students and contribute to promoting a culture of excellence and active community engagement.
The participation further reflects the distinguished standing of GJU students and their ability to represent their university and country in the best possible manner, while actively contributing to initiatives and programs dedicated to youth and sustainable development.
