As part of the German Jordanian University’s commitment—represented by its President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, faculty members, administrative staff, and students—to supporting the steadfast positions of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein in defending national and pan-Arab causes, and in rejection of forced displacement policies that contradict the principles of justice and human rights, and reaffirming Jordan’s unwavering stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and the rights of its people, a student delegation from the German Jordanian University visited the Royal Hashemite Court, where they met with His Excellency Yousef Hassan Al-Isawi, Chief of the Royal Court.
During the meeting, Al-Isawi emphasized that Jordan, under His Majesty’s leadership, continues to play a pioneering and courageous role in addressing regional and international challenges, guided by its national and pan-Arab principles and its deep-rooted Hashemite legacy in defending the causes of the nation.
He pointed out that Jordan possesses strong resilience and steadfastness, with its wise Hashemite leadership placing the nation’s interests above all considerations and maintaining the independence of national decision-making despite various challenges.
Al-Isawi added that in light of ongoing global transformations, Jordan continues to strengthen its diplomatic position. Under His Majesty’s leadership, the Kingdom has successfully established regional and international relations based on respect and trust, enhancing its central role in regional affairs and making its voice heard on the global stage.
He stressed that the Palestinian cause remains a top priority for Jordan, as the Kingdom continues its diplomatic efforts to counter Israeli aggression in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as violations in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, which threaten security and stability in the entire region.
Al-Isawi also highlighted the intensive political and diplomatic efforts led by His Majesty the King, as recently demonstrated in his meeting with the U.S. President, during which he clearly affirmed Jordan and the Arab world’s rejection of any plans to displace Palestinians, whether from Gaza or the West Bank.
He reiterated that Jordan’s role extends beyond the Palestinian issue to include addressing various regional and international challenges, believing that political solutions are the key to resolving conflicts and that national and Arab interests must always take precedence.
Al-Isawi added that His Majesty has directed the provision of all forms of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, with aid convoys continuously departing from Jordan to Gaza, reaffirming the Kingdom’s longstanding humanitarian approach. Furthermore, Jordan has become a central hub for delivering relief assistance to Gaza, reflecting its leading role in responding to humanitarian crises.
He emphasized that Jordan is continuing its reform path despite political and economic challenges, strengthening the foundations of its national economy and overcoming difficulties. He also underscored the importance of internal unity and national cohesion, which serve as a fundamental safeguard for the country’s security and stability.
Al-Isawi pointed to the warm public reception of His Majesty upon his return from the United States, which reflected the deep love and loyalty of Jordanians to their leader and reaffirmed the strength of national unity.
He also praised the efforts of the Jordanian Armed Forces—The Arab Army—and the security agencies, describing them as the nation’s protective shield and the guarantor of its stability.
For their part, members of the student delegation expressed their pride in Jordan’s steadfast positions and His Majesty’s efforts on various fronts, affirming that his vision serves as a model for addressing regional and international challenges.
They commended Jordan’s political and diplomatic role, noting that His Majesty’s wisdom has strengthened the Kingdom’s position on the global stage and contributed to regional stability.
The students affirmed that, through his wisdom and foresight, His Majesty has laid the foundations for stability and development, and that his unwavering stance on the Palestinian cause reflects his firm commitment to supporting Palestinian rights and rejecting any attempts at displacement.
They emphasized that Jordan’s and His Majesty’s positions remain a cornerstone in building a strong nation that protects the rights of its people and enhances its status regionally and internationally.
